The story so far

Yesterday was officially declared on the Brown calendar a chore free day (well, at least from 10am onwards). The night before we had our second lot of people stay. This time I was able to offer at least one of them a couch. Our new friends Dru and Chicken (or Richard as we later learnt)arrived late on Friday and it was lovely to have breakfast with them on Saturday morning. We left early from breakfast and went to the farmers markets to get our veges for the week.

And it began......

This is a story of Andrew and I and our experience of moving to Dunedin. It is for writing, reading and remembering the special time we are having. The story begins in a semi rural New Zealand university town, Dunedin, 4 hours south of 'home'. It has just begun to show summer in its full glory, the locals are at the camping grounds and there are just a handful of students left over from summer school . It is two weeks now after we have arrived and today is our last 'holiday' day before we both begin the next part of this tale.
